Creamy Peachy Smoothie

I absolutely love starting my day with a smoothie as the first meal. In addition to smoothies being absolutely delicious, they are also an excellent way for you to give your body a little rest from heavy digestion, since liquids naturally require less energy to digest than solid foods.

So, by having a smoothie as your first meal, you are allowing your body to focus more of its energy on detoxification and cleansing, rather than digesting new solid food that is entering the body.

Smoothies are also a great way to incorporate important nutrients and vitamins, that we don’t necessarily get throughout the day, and they are relatively quick and easy.
